Ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan signed a one-year contract with the BPL franchise Rangpur Riders today. The tournament is set to begin from 6th December. In the first season of Bangladesh Premier League, Shakib captained the Khulna Royal Bengals, and in the second season he led Dhaka Gladiators to the tournament title and in the 2015 season he played for Rangpur Riders. He played for the Dhaka Dynamites since the 2016 edition of the tournament for three years before returning to Rangpur Riders again.
